How Slake IoT got featured at NIT Jalandhar for showcasing our technology.

Updated: Jul 16, 2020

We were working on our technology since march 2019 on Home Automation. A simple tech for automating your home at an affordable cost.

To build our prototype we used ESP8266 microcontroller. The whole prototype cost us around 1500 rupees from building the UI for controlling to the tech itself.

In the current market, already available automation technologies cost more than 20,000 rupees for making your home smart. In our case, the overall cost turned out to be 50% cheaper.

It cost you less than 10,000 rupees including an easy to use Android and iOS app, Google Assistant based pre-set voice command with Hindi language support as well.

Our prototype includes Home Automation, Smart Door using Face Recognition, Door security, and alert using email and SMS.

I, Shyam Pandey posted this all over social media, and people from LinkedIn and Instagram started noticing our Project Prototype.

We were then called for Innovesta 2019 held at NIT Jalandhar, Punjab, where we explained everything about our project and how affordable it is for all of us.
